At all times of the enterprise’s history SBf Spezialleuchten Wurzen GmbH has developed and designed the special lighting systems for the passenger compartments of the respective rail vehicles for the defined series (traffic projects), according to the design demands and technical specification with the latest technologies.

The rapid development of the LED technology after 2004 caused the fact, that the products for the signal lighting and outside lighting were first developed and tested; subsequently all the system of the conventional lighting for the rail vehicles (fluorescent lamp, halogen luminary) was implemented to this modern technique. SBF Spezialleuchten Wurzen GmbH offers currently a wide range of LED based lighting for every function in the rail vehicle.

The current references are lighting systems of the traffic projects Velaro D, Regina, Tram Tango Basel, Do Inno.
