Casing element of the luggage rack with T5 fluorescent lamps, fixed on the back side, for general illumination of the passenger compartment (upper and lower light emission) and with integrated LED reading lights. The reading lights are behind a continuous PC-facing and in the carrier section infinitely variable movable. The luggage rack is extendable with reservation display or service call, if required. The switch function of the reading light is realized contactless, through approach with the finger to the rear lit push button.

The reading lights as well as the respective electronic components are mounted onto the aluminium profiles. Plastic covers are used as design-characterized sheetings. The general lighting, which is integrated into the system, is covered by polycarbonate light emitting profiles.

The luggage carrier flap consists of an aluminium profile on which reading lights and the respective electronic components of the train are mounted. Plastic covers are attached at the front.

The luggage carrier flap is made of an anodised aluminium extruded profile. It is equipped with reading lights, lighting control, stop call button and a plug. The luggage carrier flap is attached to the luggage rack and will be fastened with two quick release fasteners. The flap also serves as decorative cover inside the passenger compartments.

For the general lighting a 1,5 mm powder-coated steel sheet bar is used on which a loudspeaker facing board, a parabol mirror grate and dummy plates are mounted. The general lighting is available in different sizes and various combinations with the luggage carrier flap P 27. According to customer requests the light fitting can be equipped in different variations.

The design-characterized lighting system consists of an anodised aluminium profile (on the visible side) with 2 or 3 integrated reading lights of different light emitting angles and a polycarbonate cover, including the required electronic components (DC converter, lighting control, service call button).

The ceiling system consists of a basic module, to be fixed at the vehicle body shell and a tiltable ceiling part. The vehicle body shell and the basic module form an air duct. The tiltable ceiling part is designed as bonding construction and ensures a quick entry to the electronic components. The integration of acoustic components is prepared. The ceiling illuminates in two operation modes, complete lighting and emergency lighting. Power consumption ca. 35 W.

The deep-drawn plastic profile can be customized in form, colour and dimension. Thereby the LED’s can follow (almost) any contours and courses. Input voltages could be provided with an adapted electrical power supply.

The ceiling system is composed of a combination with the vehicle body shell, air supply duct and air exhaust duct. To provide the relevant airflow, the cover are perforated and wet coated. The integration of the acoustics elements is applicable. The aluminum structure system shall be screwed with the vehicle body shell and the cover elements shall be clipped through a glued raster profile in the structure system and screwed. The illumination is designed as two flamed strip lighting fixture, which leaves no dark fields thru special arrangement. The cover of the general illumination is a color coated extruded PC profile.

The ceiling system is composed of a combination with the vehicle body shell, air supply duct and air exhaust duct. The sidewise cover plate is of aluminium and the middle ceilings of 6 mm aluminium-recore composite slab. The aluminium air ducts are srewed with the vehicle body shell and at the same time serve as a mounting plate for the ceiling lining. The air ducts and the connection to the car body are are separated by thermal insulation. The lighting is designed as a double strip lighting fixture, which is supported by spots in the side ceilings. The cover of the general illumination is a coated extruded PC profile.
